This is a medium sized hotel catering towards the budget traveller but looking for safe, clean and centrally located accommodation. Hotel is well managed by the international Renaissance group. (06/02 DL).

The building design fits perfectly well into the surrounding area of architecture without any unique characteristics.

Clean and comfortable rooms fitted with satellite TV, direct IDD, safety box, mini-bar and hairdryers.

The hotel's only restaurant is located adjacent to the lobby. The restaurant caters for all tastes, serving local and international cuisine in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Small with simple furnishings.

Downtown location nearby the main shopping and commercial district.

Summit Parkview Hotel - 3 stars from $22 USD

350 Ahlone Road, Dagon Township, Yangoon

Facilities- Karaoke, pool table and video game machines are also available at the "Dagon executive lounge" (lobby level). (06/02 DL).

The hotel is modern high rise building constructed in concrete and glass.

Rooms are average in size and nicely decorated. All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning.

A main restaurant "Parkview Cafe" which serves International cuisine and Japanese specialites. A steam boat Thai style is also available at Coca Suki restaurant.

Offers a spacious lobby setting brightly lit with plenty of seating.

Hotel faces the people's park and is less than 25 minutes drive from Yangon International airport. Downtown Yangon and the famous " Shwegadon Pagoda" the jewel of the city are just minutes away. The parliament house, government offices, embassies and other tourist attractions are situated nearby.

Dusit Inya Lake Hotel - 4 stars from $29 USD

There are outdoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, lakeside jogging track, fitness centre with good equipment, sauna and a steambath, shopping arcade, conference and seminar facilities and banqueting.( 03/07PS).

The building was originally erected as a gift from the Soviet Union in 1961, so although it could be called an historic hotel, the outward appearance is that of an unprepossesing large modern block. The hotel was fully renovated in 1996.

All rooms are suites and tastefully decorated with Burmese teak furniture and flooring reflecting the elegance and charm of a bygone era and offers spectacular views of the Inya Lake or the Gardens.

For dining the hotel features superb continental cuisine buffets and a la carte specials. Snacks and refreshments are served at the pool bar throught the day and the bar invites for a cool drink with spectacular view.

Lobby is spacious with the reception desk to the left of the entrance, and shopping arcade leading down to the lake view bar. Floors are polished wood and decoration is restrained and reflects the locality. Plenty of room for group check in.

The hotel is located in midst Yangon, the capital of the golden land. In 38 acres of gardens on the north east shore of Inya lake. Midway between Mingaladon airport and the commercial centre ( about 15 minute drive to either outside of rush hour).
